Four Friday Nights
Because I worked full time and had a long commute to the hospital, the chaplaincy training program allowed me to do all but four of my weekly practicum hours on the Friday night overnight shift, 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. At the end of my training year, Kathy invited me to join the staff as a per diem chaplain working Friday nights.
